Covid-19 Solidarity Response
Latest updates

It has been confirmed that The World Health Organization Covid-19 Solidarity Response is an official beneficiary cause at World Concert Day on April 26, 2021. The project was created by the United Nations Foundation and the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation, together with World Health Organization, as an act of global solidarity and commitment to the idea that the only way out of this pandemic is by working together.

The Fund responds rapidly where it is most needed, and it has already had a big impact helping UN agencies distribute lifesaving equipment, protect some of the world’s most at-risk areas, and develop vaccines, diagnostics, and therapeutics that will be instrumental to ending this pandemic.

Funds help all countries – particularly those most vulnerable and at-risk, and with the weakest health systems – to respond to the COVID-19 crisis by rapidly detecting cases, stopping transmission of the virus, and caring for those affected. With new mutations and variants arising around the world this is needed more than ever.

The Covid 19 Solidarity Response Fund is an official beneficiary of World Concert Day. If you are involved with that event as an artist, producer or organizer you are encouraged to directly promote this as your worthy cause and ask all your viewers and fans to donate directly to the COVID-19 Response Fund using the official donation links and donate buttons.
