Music Aid supports the World Health Organization Covid-19 Solidarity Response with World Concert Day on April 26. The project was created by the United Nations Foundation and the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation, together with World Health Organization as an act of global solidarity and commitment to the idea that the only way out of this pandemic is by working together.

The Fund responds rapidly where it is most needed, and it has already had a big impact helping UN agencies distribute lifesaving equipment, protect some of the world’s most at-risk areas, and develop vaccines, diagnostics, and therapeutics that will be instrumental to ending this pandemic.

Funds help all countries – particularly those most vulnerable and at-risk, and with the weakest health systems – to respond to the COVID-19 crisis by rapidly detecting cases, stopping transmission of the virus, and caring for those affected.

The Covid 19 Solidarity Response Fund is a featured beneficiary of World Concert Day. If you are involved with that event as an artist, producer or organizer you can directly promote this as your worthy cause. If you select the Response Fund as your cause we advise you to encourage viewers and fans to donate directly to the fund using their official donation links and donate buttons. You can get these, and find information you can use, at World Concert Day takes place annually on 26th April. Visit the World Concert Day website here for details.
