Join World Concert Day on April 26. A global day of music for UNICEF, the Covid-19 Solidarity Response, The Breathe Life Campaign, your favorite charities and causes worldwide, and music related charities such as The Amy Winehouse Foundation and Carlos Santana´s Milagro Foundation. Join in and take part as an artist, a fan or a good cause. Use this day of music to support a cause you care about, your local community or someone in need
World Concert Day was originally launched as a day for live music concerts and events to donate part of ticket sales and other income to a linked charity. But last year the Global Pandemic changed all that and in 2020 most public concerts and tours were cancelled and World Concert Day was an online only lockdown event. This year in 2021 many public concerts planned to take place on World Concert Day 2021 – eg BTS, Harry Styles, Celine Dion, Jeff Beck, Nick Mason, Bryan Adams, The Liverpool Philharmonic and others – have also been cancelled due to the crisis and the event is again an online virtual day of music. We invite ALL artists, producers and promoters reading this to join the event, show solidarity and stream online on 26 April. Contact us for details and join us on social media.
In addition to the main headline causes of The COVID Solidarity Response and UNICEF, artists, producers, fans and charities are encouraged to promote and raise awareness and funds for own favorite charities, projects and causes. In 2020 these causes included local hospices and we hope to see this repeated in 2021.
